Notre Dame Bay Memorial Hospital Auxiliary
The Notre Dame Bay Memorial Hospital Auxiliary in Twillingate has been in existence since 1981. At that time four ladies: Mary Woodruff, Joan Dennison, Audrey Hussey and the late Madeline Earle approached Ed Colford, the Hospital Administrator at the time, about the possibility of forming an Auxiliary. Later that year the Auxiliary was formed with a membership of 41 individuals. In 2021 they celebrated their milestone 40th Anniversary and throughout the years they have contributed over $100,000 towards healthcare in our region. Some of their purchases over the years include a portable defibrillator, pediatric crash carts, transport stretchers, geriatric chairs, and much more.
