Do you love event planning and community engagement?
The Central Northeast Health Foundation is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Special Events Coordinator to join our team for 8 exciting weeks this summer!
You’ll help bring to life key community fundraising events such as:
- 🏁 Fly Your Car in Gander
- ⛳ Golf for Health Tournament
- 🎟️ Gold Mine 50/50 Lottery
…and much more!
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with planning and coordinating community fundraising events
- Support marketing, promotions, and donor engagement activities
- Help maintain our Lakeshore Healing Garden
- Interact with the public, volunteers, and community partners
- Work collaboratively with our Foundation team to achieve success
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Experience or education in:
- Business Administration
- Commerce
- Public Relations
- Marketing
- Community Studies
✅ Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
✅ Proficient in Microsoft Word and desktop publishing tools
✅ Comfortable in a fast-paced, public-facing environment
✅ Ability to take initiative and work well in a team
✅ Willingness to assist with outdoor work in the patient garden
Requirements:
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license & good driving record
- Certificate of Conduct (satisfactory)
- Medical pre-placement assessment
