Established in 1989, the Central Northeast Health Foundation is a registered charity committed to building healthier communities across Central and Northeastern Newfoundland.
While our office is located in the North Courtyard of the James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre in Gander—just across from the chapel—our reach extends far beyond. We support individuals who access health programs and services delivered by NL Health Services – Central Zone, serving communities throughout a large and diverse region.
Our service area spans from Glenwood in the west to Charlottetown in the east, and stretches north through the Eastport Peninsula, New-Wes-Valley, Fogo Island, Twillingate, and every community in between.
This vast geographic area covers nearly 12,000 square kilometers and is home to approximately 40,500 people across 89 communities.
